A couple weeks ago Elle's teacher ask if I knew any thing about play dough. I told her I had made it before but that was about it. She said she had made it and it had not turned out. I was home with my oldest because she was sick and I had been in the house way to long. So I decided to make some and drop it off at the school. Since it was March I decided to make it green and add mint to make it smell yummy. I also stamped it with a shamrock for fun! The kids enjoyed it and I was glad to do something besides clean the house.
The girls ask for Swedish pancakes all the time. They are so yummy but they take awhile to make. My mom used to make these for me and the brother's as kids and still does when we go to visit. I decided to add a little twist to them for St. Patricks day and I turned them Green. The girls thought it was pretty cool.
So today is the second day of my little being homesick. Not fun! She feels much better today than yesterday. Thank goodness. I think she is even getting board of TV and the ipad so she must be ready to go back to school. She came up to me and said "Mom I want to do something, Can I play play dough?" "I said of course!" and of course we did not have any play dough. So we decided to make some. She of course wanted to make Rainbow(she loves everything Rainbow) so I headed over to pintrest and found this Rainbow play dough from Out law mom. It was super easy and quick. The longest part was mixing in the food coloring. This is perfect for St. Patricks day coming up.
I made these last year for the girls to take to school Green eggs and ham and Cat in the hat, Hat's ! This year we were on a cruise so I was not prepared for anything yet! Elle loves top play the Cat in the hat on the computer. So her is our tribute!
