Go.......Purple Pandas!!

Last weekend we were in charge of snack for my daughters Softball game so we decided to make it a little fun.  We brought Cracker Jacks, purple Gatorade to match the team color and I dipped Oreos in white chocolate and made them look like softballs.  The team thought they were pretty cool!

The game was fun!  Rian got 2 hits!

Yummy Apple Dip

Since I have started my blog it has been all cake pops and NO squats!  My plan is to start back on my healthy eating and exercising.......................next Tuesday!  LOL!  It has been a little stressful around here we had to put our dog down last weekend.  So, eating sweets makes me feel better (not really, it makes me feel sick to my tummy but taste so good at the time.)  So to get a little bit of health food in us we had apples with carmel dip for after school snack.  Who cares if it had cream cheese, carmel and Heath bar on top!!  Yum! I am pretty sure I liked it better than the kids.  My oldest did not like the Heath.  What??? Are you crazy kid?

I also used this recipe for a gift and teacher appreciation a few weeks ago, packaged it up cute and gave it to friends and teachers.  Fun!  I found the great idea here  The teachers loved this!

Enjoy~

Homemade Thin Mints

So today while I was eating the Andes Creme DE Menthe baking chips ( I have a serious problem right now!) I thought I needed to make something with these.  So I looked up homemade thin mints.  Who does not like those??   I did not have all the ingredients so I just kind of made up my own.  They turned out pretty good.  I had some left over almond bark from the football cake pops that I needed to use up.  So what better way than dip Ritz crackers in chocolate and then add peppermint extract.  I did sprinkle some Andes mints on top but I ate those before I took the pictures. Hopefully next time I will get a picture of them. I told you I had a serious problem!  My daughter had a friend over today and they really liked the cookies.  So I will take it as they were good and not me just eating everything in sight!

Enjoy~

Are you ready for some football?

Just kidding!  It was my husband birthday this weekend and he loves football.  So I decided to make footballs  the theme.  He requested Oreo truffle cake pops, so I made them into the shape of footballs.  They were pretty cute!    I also dipped some strawberries in chocolate and made them look like footballs too! My husband does not like cake (crazy I know!) so I made a yummy ice cream cake that I found on this website here
Lots of fun and yummy too!  We made ours with heath bar.

Pretzel Pencils

These pretzel pencils were kinda fun for Rian's teacher!  I had a little trouble with the yellow and orange, they were to thick and I was not able to thin them out.  Hopefully next time they will come out better.  They tasted good though! Dutch even took some to work.  I swear I would dip my arm in chocolate if I could and EAT it. ha ha!!  This idea I got from odetoinspiration.wordpress.com.  Hers were way cuter!  Maybe next time.
Enjoy~

Apples Apples Apples........Cupcakes!

Well, we have some more apples to share.  For Rian's teachers we made apple cupcakes. They were super easy and lots of fun.
I can not take the credit for these though.  They are from are really great blog I love called lovefromtheoven.  She has some really great ideas.  Check it out!  She has great free printables too!  Like the one's I used to package up the cup cakes.
My husband actually designed and made the tags.  Enjoy~

Don't they say " An Apple a day will keep the Dr. Away."  Well,  maybe not these but it's worth a try!

Have a great day!
